Laminated glass VSG ESG

Laminated glass made to measure (VSG) is safety laminated glass made by bonding two panes with an interlayer (most commonly PVB), which helps keep fragments together if the glass breaks. In this category you can order laminated (and, depending on the option, toughened/tempered) glass cut to your dimensions for projects such as glass balustrades/railings, glass canopies, glazing, glass doors, partitions and other architectural applications.

Types available

Clear laminated glass

– maximum transparency for modern glazing.

Frosted / matte laminated glass

– light diffusion and added privacy for doors and partitions.

Tinted / smoked laminated glass (Antisol)

– bronze, grey/graphite, or black for a stylish “smoke” effect and reduced visibility.

Coloured laminated glass

– decorative laminated glass made with coloured PVB interlayers (wide design freedom).

Acoustic laminated glass

– improved sound insulation compared to standard glazing, useful for homes, offices and service spaces.

Patterned (ornamental) laminated glass

Float vs Optiwhite (low‑iron)

For many applications, float glass is the standard base glass. If you need the most neutral, extra‑clear look (especially for bright interiors or coloured laminates), choose Optiwhite / low‑iron glass, which reduces the greenish tint typical of standard glass.
